High Protein Dark Chocolate and Peanutbutter Ice Cream
Everybody loves ice cream. However, ice cream typically provides a lot of fat, sugar, and calories, without providing a lot of other nutrition. This high protein option, made with the Ninja Creami, will help you hit your macros, while also satisfying your taste buds.
Ingredients
- 300 ml milk
- 1 serving protein powder
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons peanutbutter powder
- 2 tablespoons monkfruit sweetner
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon xanthum gum
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a Ninja Creami pint or blender.
- Blend completely with a blender, immersion blender, milk frother, or wisk.
- If you used a blender, pour mixture into Ninja Creami pint.
- Put lid on pint and place it on a level surface in freezer.
- Freeze for at least 16 hours.
- Remove frozen mixture from freezer and run pint under hot water for about 1 minute.
- Process with Ninja Creami per the instructions in the manual. Use the "lite ice cream" setting.
- If your mixture is icy or crumbly, process again with the "respin" function and repeat as necessary, until you achieve the texture you want.
